Francis David Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis David of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Charlene Curley Hennessy; his parents, Francis Hennessy and Mary Patricia Hennessy; and his brothers, Shelley, Mark and Tom Hennessy.

He is survived by : his children, Jeff Hennessy (Eileen), Meg Flisek (Mike) and Bonnie Shawa (Wangyal); his grandchildren, Michelle (Drew), Caitlin (Nathan), Kathleen (Ray), Sean (Cassie), Bridget, Jordan, Tara and Nyima; his great grandchildren, Melanie, Francis, Brynn, Jett and Luke; and his siblings, Gail King (Bud) and Huntley Hennessy (Linda). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church (41 E Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philomena Church (41 E Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Fernwood Cemetery (6501 E Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050).
