She is survived by : her husband Jonathan Steele; her father Lawrence Ladd; her brother Larry Ladd; her sisters-in-law, Melanie Carter (Guy) and Amy Falcone (John); her nieces and nephews, Ariana Carter, Sofia, Vinny and Rocky Falcone; her pets, Zuzu and Spanky; her uncle Ed Floyd (Kathleen); her cousins, Nicole and Amanda Floyd; her uncle Michael Floyd (Trish); and her cousins, Chrissy and Missy.

Michelle and Jon regularly supported children throughout their marriage, in lieu of flowers, contributions are preferred In Michelle's Memory, to the following charity: World Vision, https://donate.worldvision.org.
