He was predeceased by: his daughter Laura Ann Pelzar; his parents, Leonard Szarewicz and Marie Szarewicz; and his siblings, Arthur and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Helena A. Szarewicz; and his daughter Dawn Marie Wilkinson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Philomena Church (41 E Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050). The military honors was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
