He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weikel and Dorothy Weikel (Benner); and his daughters, Christin Self and Sonya. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Weikel (Neeb) of Lansford; his daughters, Jennifer Reese of Shamokin and Sarah Gurtlinger (Chris) of White Haven; his stepchildren, Christopher Theobald of Lansford, Sarah Jones of New Tripoli and Cassandra McFadden (Michael) of Nesquehoning; his son-in-law Daniel Self of Lansford; and his brother Thomas Benner (Cynthia) of Fredericksburg, VA.
