She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thomas and Helen Thomas (James); her daughter Barbara Rogers-Fergestad; her daughter-in-law Jamie Rogers; her siblings, Fred Thomas, Jr., Alice Jones and Helen Rogers; and her brother-in-law Dale Smith.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Rogers, Jr. of Laporte; her children, James Rogers, III (Barbara) of Bear Creek, Richard Rogers of Lewisburg and Sharon Rogers-Barron (Dennis) of Upper Gwynedd; her son-in-law Dag Fergestad of Trondheim, Norway; her grandchildren, J. Coulter Rogers, Luke Rogers (Jody), Sadler Rogers, Emily Rogers, Halvor Fergestad (Hanna Slotte), Grant Rogers (Patricia) and Katherine Medina (Max); and her sister-in-law Sylvia Smith of Raleigh, N. C.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Laporte United Methodist Church (723 Main St, Laporte, PA 18626).
