He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Mitchell and Lucy Mitchell (Palangio); his siblings, Beana, Tina, Nick, Joe and Dan; and his grandson Andrew.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mitchell (Zidansek); his children, Ted Mitchell (Stephani) and Diane Hacker (David); his grandchildren, Claire (Michael Marple), Angela, Jessica and Tony Mitchell; and his great grandchild Carter. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
