He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Watkins and Bertha Mae Cochran Watkins; his wife Lois; and his siblings, Robert, John, Walter, Edward, Florence Bidgood, Madeline Rajski and Agnes Carey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Watkins Davis (Chip) of Larksville and Stacey Watkins Samuels (Klint) of Larksville; his grandchildren, Justin Davis of Bloomsburg and Erika Samuels of Larksville; and his great grandchildren, Jake and Derek Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
