He is survived by: his wife Vianna V. "Ginger" Butala (Ray) of Latrobe; his sons, Thomas A. Butala (Charlene) of Derry, Timothy A. Butala (Julia) of Latrobe and Todd A. Butala (Jacquelyn) of Ligonier; his grandchildren, Jamey Butala (Jonathan Soja) and Timothy Butala Jr.; his stepgrandson Seth Shick; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Isabel Soja; his brother Robert Butala (Carol) of New Alexandria; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Ray (Joanne), John Liberoni, Linda Butala, Patricia Terdle, Mary Jane Zarzeczny and Betty Ruth Ray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
