He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Blystone and Anna Blystone (Himler); his great grandchild Emil Diethorn; his siblings, Charles T. Blystone, Anna Ruth Keefer and Bonnie Protz; and his stepsiblings, Harry, William Oaks and Garnet Citeroni.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Blystone (Bridge) of Latrobe; his daughters, Tracey B. Ellsworth Magrini (Michael) of Robinson Twp, Maureen A. Diethorn (Regis) of Latrobe and Dana M. Bauer (Carl) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Nathan Ellsworth, Taylor Ellsworth, Jordan Steinberg (Phil), Madison Ellsworth, Jonse Diethorn (Megan), Aubrey Swisher (Zachary), Dr. Holden Diethorn (Rachel), Drew Bauer (Ashley) and Noah Bauer; and his great grandchildren, Ryker Swisher, Sylvie Swisher, Willow Bauer, Aspen Bauer and Mason Diethorn.
A rosary was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). Viewing was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (306 St Johns Dr, Latrobe, PA 15650).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 306 St. John Drive, Latrobe, PA 15650.
