He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Ashbaugh and Mary A. Ashbaugh (Hostoffer); and his siblings, Raymond Ashbaugh, Betty Hoffer, Lois Lehman Elliott, Charlotte Kraynak and Grace Ashbaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Ashbaugh (Tokarcik); his children, Chuck Ashbaugh (Julie) of Latrobe and Cheryl Goughneour (Eric) of Latrobe; and his grandchildren, Cameron, Ava Ashbaugh, Ethan, Carli Goughneour, Lucy, Max Cramer, Ben, Alex and Zack Battaglia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Action for Animals, P.O. Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650.
