Bates (Megan) of Latrobe and Monica S. Bates (Eric Howard) of Latrobe; his brothers, Robert L. Bates (Connie) of Latrobe, Eugene S. Bates (Donna) of Latrobe and David J. Bates (Connie) of North Carolina; his sister-in-law Margaret Bates of Latrobe; and his grandson Lucas Charles Bates.
