He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Stein and Marie F. Stein (Dotterway); and his sister Evelyn Henry. He is survived by: his son Matthew Stein (Kathleen) of Latrobe; his grandsons, Luke and Jack; and his siblings, William R. Stein, Jeraldine Romeo and Leona Falso (Gerald).
