She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles K. Brant and Helen Brant (Shrum); her grandson Jeffrey W. Dowden Jr.; and her sister Sharon Brant. She is survived by: her husband James W. Dowden of Latrobe; her children, Jeffrey W. Dowden Sr. (Gloria) of Latrobe, Curtis Dowden (Jenny) of Conway, SC, Kevin Dowden (Lorraine "Rayne) and Cynthia Palek (Kevin) of Latrobe; and her sisters, Margery Ankney of Greensburg and Nancy Stewart of Blacklick. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
