She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ruffin and Jane Ruffin (Evans); and her brother William Ruffin. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Larry L. Armstrong; her son William H. Douglas; her stepchildren, Rev. Deana M. Armstrong, Karen Baney (James) and Jason Armstrong (Laura); her granddaughter Kaylee Armstrong; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Ruffin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Latrobe Presbyterian Church (428 Main St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Latrobe Presbyterian Church or to one's animal charity of choice.
