With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Kozar of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, born in Bradenville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kondrich and Margaret Kondrich (Kuba); her husband Michael J. Kozar; her daughter Suzanne Miscovich; and her siblings, John Richard Kondrich and Dolores Sedlacko.
She is survived by: her children, Michael S. Kozar (Peggy) of Laughlintown, Richard F. Kozar (Heidi) of Whitney, John M. Kozar of Thibodaux, LA and Rita E. Burd (Lance) of Fairfield, PA; her grandchildren, Renee Miscovich, Christopher Kozar (Jennifer), Cathryn Blake (Ryan) and Macy Logan (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Mitchell Logan, Joseph Kozar, Rowan Blake, James Logan, Tucker Blake and Ellis Kozar; her sisters, Lorraine Orlandi of California, PA and Margo Donnelly of Derry; and her sister-in-law Caroline Kondrich of Derry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
