He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. McDonald and Amelia E. McDonald (College); his wife Lorraine D. McDonald (Smetak); and his siblings, Robert McDonald, Katherine DeMine and Helen Knaus.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark W. McDonald (Darlyn) of Chalfont, PA and Gary J. McDonald (Nancy) of Irwin; his granddaughters, Lauryn McDonald and Rebecca McDonald; his stepgrandchildren, Jason Adams and Jennifer Adams; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Eva and Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
