He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Edward Sphon (Linda) and William Sphon (Barbara); and his stepchildren, James Hollobaugh, Tim Hollobaugh and Kathy "Katie" Phillips (Daniel). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
