We are sad to announce that, on February 1, 2026, at the age of 85, James E. Albert of Latrobe, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome I. Albert and Phyllis Albert (O'Brien); and his wife Leola L. Albert (Swain). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Marie Smith (Randy) of Murrysville and James E. Albert Jr. (Brianne) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Austin Baer (Kerri), Tristan Albert and Brayden Albert; his stepgrandchildren, Scott Smith and Jamie Clemente (Nick); his great grandchild Atlas Cloud Baer; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Nora and Tate; and his brother Donald Albert of North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Action for Animals, P.O. Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650.
