He was predeceased by : his parents, George Japalucci and Mary Jane Japalucci (Jackson); and his brother Thomas Japalucci. He is survived by : his wife Julie Japalucci (Carrarini) of Latrobe; his children, Jeanna A. Wiederstein (Richard) of Greensburg and Jordan L. Japalucci (Aleasha) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Tyler (Emily), Jake and Lily; his brother Terry L. Japalucci (Joann); and his uncle Merle Jackson (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
