James R. Wright Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, at the age of 87, James R. Wright Sr. of Latrobe, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wright Sr. and Hazel Wright (Herminzek); his siblings, William Wright, Jr. (Mary), Jeanne Mackey (Glenn) and Marilyn Rudy; and his sister-in-law Joy Bolton (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Wright (Fait); his children, James R. Wright, Jr. (Sue), Karen L. Smetanka (Jeff) and Kristen S. Klunk (Michael); his grandchildren, Michael James Wright, Thomas James Smetanka, Megan Burkett (Noah), Jacob Klunk and David Klunk; his great grandchildren, Elina and Eliza Burkett; and his in-laws, Sally Sanderbeck, Jeff Fait (Patti), Jim Fait (Barb), Norma Fait, Toni Fait and Mary Fait. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
