He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Conte and Rose Conte (Stovich); his grandfather Conti; his daughter Marion Conte; and his sister-in-law Peggy Conte.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret J. Conte (O'Patka); his children, Coren Knickerbocker (Stuart) of Mechanicsburg, Cathleen Kmecak (Brad) of Latrobe, Christie Borelli (Mike) of Mt. Pleasant and John Andrew Conte of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Maximus, Benjamin, Drake, Callie, Anna, Chloe, Kinsey, Luke and Jacob; and his siblings, Francis Conte of Latrobe and James Conte (Debbie) of Latrobe. He is also survived by extended family, countless friends, and neighbors.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (1200 Ligonier St, Latrobe, PA 15650).
