He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morton and Helena Morton (Gronek); and his former wife Nancy Morton Best. He is survived by: his children, Joseph R. Morton Jr. (Terry) of Stahlstown and Hope M. Zulisky of Latrobe; his siblings, Richard Morton (Phyllis) of Marietta, GA, Irene Solick (James) of Latrobe, Wanda Evancho (John) of Latrobe and Donna Jackson of Latrobe; his grandchildren, April Moore, Amanda Aukerman (Sean), John McIntyre (Ashley) and Nicholas McIntyre; his great grandchildren, Raven Moore and Samantha Aukerman; and his pet Tribble. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
