She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Jones and Lillian I. Jones (Hitchman); her husband Thomas S. Smetanka; her grandson Nicholas Owens; and her siblings, William, John, Dennis "Denny" Jones, Ruth Ann Rebera, Shirley Jones, Patricia Jones and Virginia "Ginger" Madatic.
She is survived by: her children, Beth A. Lopatich (Jim Salandro) of Latrobe, Karen L. Owens (Ronald) of Youngstown, Jeffrey T. Smetanka (Karen) of Latrobe and Susan L. McClean (Kevin) of Robinson; her grandchildren, Jessica Yockey (Glenn), Julie Norris (Adam), Kayla Owens-Dollin (Yonatan), Karley Callihan (Levi), Thomas Smetanka, Megan Burkett (Noah), Abigail McClean, Savannah McClean and Emily McClean; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Joshua, Jada, Roman, Elina and Eliza; her siblings, James Jones (Sandy) of Greensburg, Bruce Jones (Jessie) of Latrobe and Janet Houser of Blairsville; and her brother-in-law John Smetanka (Sandy) of Latrobe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 451 44th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
