We bid farewell to Leland J. Getto of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 2, 2025 at the age of 81. Leland touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard M. Getto and Adeline L. Getto (Freilino); his stepdaughter Rebecca Anderson; his son-in-law Michael Boron; his brother-in-law Bill Flynn; and his uncle Moe Mozdir.
He is survived by: his wife Laurene M. Getto (McCormick) of Latrobe; his children, Michael A. Getto (Nichole) of Cape Coral, FL and Kelly A. Boron of Cape Coral, FL; his stepchildren, Thomas B. Anderson of Greensburg and Kelly E. Hudson (Todd) of Derry; his grandchildren, Breanna, Micayla, Brenden, Bradley, Thomas, Jeffrey, Alexander, Lillian, Taylor and Bridgette; his great grandchild Mila; and his sister Bernadette Flynn of Monroeville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Norvelt Union Church (2339 Mt Pleasant Rd, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666).
