He is survived by: his children, Theresa Smith-Rawecki (Jan Rawecki), Lewis C. Smith (Katherine) and Lauren E. Smith; his grandchildren, Amy Dent (Mark Dent), April L. Shorthouse (Bobby), Joshua C. Smith and Zachary J. Smith; and his great grandchildren, Angelika and Paige Dent.
