She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smetak and Mary Smetak (Lepschi); and her siblings, Charles J. Smetak and Patricia Kahl. She is survived by: her husband Jack W. McDonald of Latrobe; her sons, Mark W. McDonald (Darlyn F.) of Chalfont, PA and Gary J. McDonald (Nancy) of Irwin; her granddaughters, Lauryn McDonald and Rebecca McDonald; her stepgrandchildren, Jason Adams and Jennifer Adams; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Eva and Rose; her nephew Kevin Kahl (Rana); her great-nephews, Aiden and Ethan; her niece Renee Gridler (Mark); and her great-nephew Michael.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
