We bid farewell to Richard J. Rudy of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 17, 2025 at the age of 73. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Rudy and Irene T. Rudy (Eskut). He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Rudy (Krinock) of Latrobe; his children, Matthew A. Rudy-Logue (Ryan Cayden) of Columbia, MD and Rebecca L. Marks (Dean) of Latrobe; his granddaughter Josephine "Josie" Marks; his siblings, Mark Rudy (Eileen) of Ruffsdale, Patricia Piper of Latrobe, Rita Rudy (Robert Platt) of Kingsport, TN and Kathleen Rudy (Annie Salonish) of Latrobe; his sisters-in-law, Pamela Williams and Elaine Smith; and his niece Jane Williams Binley (Chris). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
