Ruffner (Short) of Latrobe; his children, Laurel R. Gearing (Joe) and Robert M. Ruffner; his grandchildren, Edward J. Darbous, Hailey M. Ruffner, Hannah S. Ruffner and Robert M. Ruffner Jr.; and his sister Kathy A. Eaglehouse (Bruce). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, one great-great-nephew, and one great-great-niece.
