He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Zadora Peffer; his children, Diane Peffer Hohman, David Robert Peffer (Nancy), Debra Peffer Caplan (Sanford) and Donna Peffer Meisinger (William); and his brother Kenneth Peffer (Elizabeth) of Parma Heights, Ohio.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (421 Main St, Latrobe, PA 15696).
