He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Newmeyer and Martha E. Newmeyer (Stickle); his wife Myra Daline Newmeyer; and his siblings, George E. Newmeyer Jr. and Phyllis Jean Strupp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia D. Lowden (Paul) of Latrobe and Donna M. Waldron (Bill Goulding) of Blairsville; his grandchildren, Melissa Vezendy (David), Stephanie Collier (Shawn), Rob Waldron and Brittany Waldron; and his great grandchildren, Brooks, Andie and Andrew.
