He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Nester and Irene Nester (Jacoby). He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Nester (Young); his stepchildren, John Raffius Jr. and Christine Gonzalez (Daniel); his grandchildren, Breah, Larry, Quinlan, Leona, Annaleeze and Caitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Malaeh, Javion, Harper and Novalee Grace. He is also survived by one step-grandchild; and four step-great grandchildren.
