She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ray and Mary Jane Ray (Vogas); her husband Anthony "Tom" Butala; her siblings, Nancy Liberoni, Paul Ray (Betty Ruth), Charles Ray (Gertrude) and Edward Ray (Rose); and her siblings-in-law, Dick Terdle, Francis Zarzeczny, John Butala (Helen), Leonard Butala and Marcy Goblinger (Steve).
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas A. Butala (Charlene) of Derry, Timothy A. Butala (Julia) of Latrobe and Todd A. Butala (Jacquelyn) of Ligonier; her grandchildren, Jamey Butala (Jonathan Soja) and Timothy Butala Jr.; her stepgrandson Seth Shick; her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Isabel Soja; her siblings, Dick Ray (Joanne), Patricia Terdle and Mary Jane Zarzeczny; and her siblings-in-law, John Liberoni, Robert Butala (Carol) and Linda Butala. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
