He was predeceased by: his parents, John Medwid and Eugenia Medwid (Rubinowicz). He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Medwid (Nindle) of Latrobe; his daughters, Leslie A. Bredl (Michael) of Cranberry Township and Stacie Medwid of Zelienople; his grandchildren, Hannah, Zachary and Maxwell Bredl; his brother Myron Medwid (Kathleen) of Akron, OH; his siblings-in-law, Helen Brinker of Latrobe, Margaret Emery of Greensburg and Charles Nindle of Latrobe; and his friend Mickey Paganelli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
