He was predeceased by : his spouse Gail Thomas (Buchert); his parents, Rodney Thomas and Irene Thomas (Gajewski); and his sister Diane Seifert. He is survived by : his stepchildren, Christeena L. Hauck (Scott M.), Teresa A. Dietrich and Jennifer Stout; his brothers, Donald and Lester; and his nephews, Noah and Matthew. He is also survived by his 8 step-grandsons and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
