He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Bowers and Doris Bowers (Sittler). He is survived by : his wife Lois E. BowersBorn (Frey); his nieces, Kaitlin and Karli Bowers; and also, Tracy Frey, Catherine McElroy and Terri Schaedel.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home (4914 Kutztown Rd, Temple, PA 19560). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Laureldale Cemetery (4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605).
