She is survived by: her children, Lauren Wharton (Jonathan) of Upper St, Wendy Balacki (Thomas) of Jacksonville, FL and Benjamin Hurt (Chellie) of Johnstown, PA.; and her grandchildren, Jonathan "Eric" Wharton, Gregory Wharton (Allison), Abigail Gerlach, Andrew Wharton and Noah Hurt.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to Gateway Hospice, honoring her memory.
