She was predeceased by: her husband James N. Edder; her daughter Marge Novick; her stepdaughter Holly Edder; her mothers, Cecilia Popovich and Jane Gleba; and her sister Rose Argenas.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Novick (Gina); her stepsons, James Edder (Kelly) and Jeff Edder (Julie); her grandchildren, Jessie Wensel (TJ), Anthony Novick, Madelyn Novick, Nikki Novick and Mary Novick; her stepgrandchildren, Melinda Edder, Andrew Edder, Jeffrey Edder, Jr. and Ashley Edder; and her sister Theresa Newman.
In her final act of generosity, Ceil chose to donate her body to science (Humanity Gifts Registry), contributing to medical research that will help future generations.
