He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Sr. Short and Ada Short (Lehman). He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Short (Weiman); his children, Jeff Short (Cathy), Jennifer Antal (Corey) and Jodi Short; and his grandchildren, Amber, Chivon, Codey, Anthony, Anyssa, Tyler and Josh. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
