He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Joseph Swanger and Ethel Mae Swanger (Pearson). He is survived by : his wife Priscilla Swanger (Herr); his children, Andrew J. Swanger and Emily K. Swanger; and his brothers, David A. Swanger (Sandra), Jon P. Swanger (Nancy) and George W. Swanger (Suzanne). He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
