He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Fortna and Anna Fortna (Kleinfelter); and his son Michael Fortna. He is survived by: his wife Mary Fortna (Andrews); his children, Carl Fortna (Michelle) of Fredericksburg, PA, John Fortna, Jr. of Lebanon, PA, David Fortna (Audrey) of Lebanon, PA and Michelle Fortna (Dennis) of Lititz, PA; his stepsons, Scott Via (Joan) of Lebanon, PA and Jeff Via; his grandchildren, Amanda, Brett, Katie, Tasha, Trevor and Casey; and his brother Robert Fortna. He is also survived by several nephews, great grandchildren, and friends.
