John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Garrett and Mary Garrett of Myerstown, PA.; and his siblings, Jim Garrett of Alameda, CA and Florence Bartolett of Richland, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Gail Garrett (Heilman); and his sister Brenda Hess of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
