She was predeceased by: her former husband John E. Bednarz; her husband Maynard M. Douglas; her parents, William Dietz and Helen Dietz (Jakabowski); her sons, Kenneth J. Bednarz and Bruce J. Bednarz; and her siblings, Steven Karczewski, Evelyn, Tina and Donna.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Corter (Walter) of Pleasant Mount; her grandchildren, Sean Bednarz (Megan), Cheryl Harrant, Justin Corter, Austin Corter and Julia Corter; her great grandchildren, Ava, Quinn, Martin, Christopher and Stetson; her sister Karen of California; her daughter-in-law Dawn Bednarz of Aiken; and her stepdaughter Nancy Sterck of Honesdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Loretta's memory to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
