He was predeceased by : his sisters, Nirmala Manjeswar and Neela Rao. He is survived by : his wife LaVern Smith Idgunji; his sons, Dev (Rebeckah Idgunji) of Mt. Gretna and Noel Idgunji of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Kathryn Idgunji and Samuel Idgunji; and his brother Pradeep of Kinston.

“Dear LaVern, Dev and Noel, so sorry to hear of Niranjan’s death. What a great man, husband, father and grandfather. We have so many cherished memories of our early days in Wilkes Barre and all of us being together for those great Thanksgiving dinners !
