It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Forney of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, born in East Petersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Paul M. Forney and Mary K. Hershey Forney; and his siblings, Edgar, Gerald Forney and Marilyn Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Gibble; his children, Craig Forney of Titusville, FL and Cindy (Walter Sattazahn Sr.) of Lebanon, PA; his grandchildren, Michael Forney, Danielle Watson (Levi) and Walter Sattazahn Jr. (Shuang Lin); his great grandchildren, Jaxon and McKenna Watson; and his siblings, James Forney (Georgette) of Freedom, PA, Eleanor Hitz of Cornwall, PA, Barbara Lindsey of South Carolina and Betty Doll (Michael) of Virginia.
