He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Acevedo and María Matos. He is survived by: his siblings, Teresita Acevedo and José Luis Acevedo; and his children, Wanda, Waldemar, Edward and Juan. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
