He is survived by: his children, Justin Scates of Export, Jordan Burrell (Brooke) of Leechburg and Kacey Samuels (Andre) of New Kensington; his grandchildren, Daija, Graylee and Gavin Burrell; and his sisters, Janice, Diane Burrell of New Kensington, Helena Ashley (Duane) of Pittsburgh and Dr. Myrna Covington of Canonsburg.
