We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2022, at the age of 77, Edwin M. Knecht in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Knecht and Melba Knecht (Nonnemaker); his great grandchildren, Kirsten and Skylar; and his pet Patches.
He is survived by: his wife June Knecht (Hunsicker); his children, Denise (Michael Follweiler) of Lenhartsville, Dennis (Krista) of Lehighton and Mark (Michelle) of Emmaus; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Burkey (Brett), Robert Eltz, Jr., Jessica Knecht (John), Alyssa Knecht (Cody), Justin Knecht (Brenna) and Hailey Knecht; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Brittney, Tanner, Aliannah and Anthony; his sister-in-law Helen Follweiler (Richard); his brother Robert Knecht (Patricia) of Macungie; and his nieces, Angie Smith and Kristi Jewell.
Interment will be private. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and to wear a face cover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N. Main St., Chamberlain, SD 57325 in loving memory of Edwin.
