It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mock in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Semuta and Justina Semuta (Serko); her husband George Mock; and her siblings, Eva Derr, Margaret Semuta, Mary Wilson, Anna Semuta, Julia Pryzwara, John, Peter, George, Stephen and Joseph Michael.

She is survived by: her son Robert G. Mock (Terri A.) of Sugarloaf, PA; her grandchildren, Robert G. Mock II and Rachel Friendy (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Alex and Hunter Mock.

“Dear Robert and family. I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's { Helen's] passing].I got back a Christmas card I sent her and called the facility she lived in. They told me of her passing. I lived next door to Helen on 5th Street in Hazleton. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She taught me how to make chicken soup which I still prepare 'til today. There are people that touch our lives in a special way, your mother was one of them. I will truly miss her. With sympathy. Gerri Tolerico”
