He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond B. Sr. Bender and Grace I. Bender (Rasely); and his brother Raymond "Ben" Bender Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hager Bender. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 1 niece and numerous cousins.
