He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Pagel and Edna Pagel (Hontz); his wife Phyllis Pagel (Barthol); his children, Scott Pagel (Tiffany) of Bethlehem, PA and Amy (Thomas Malseed) of Northampton, PA; his siblings, Richard Pagel (Pamela) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Ann Pagel of Bethlehem, PA and Lois Clauss (Edward) of Whitehall, PA; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Brayden and Gavin.
